The Story
To share a little about me as a person... Let me start with the generic.... "I am a wife, mother and among many other rolls- an artist."
Back in 2016 I bought my first camera and began to self-teach after my second was born. The challenge of a new art medium was a lovely addition and less messy than my favorite medium- paint. Fast forward to 2020 went back to work- this time with my dreams closer than I realized. However, while working a portrait studio, the chaos of 2020 came and they closed the studio for a while. It was a wonderful transition to focus back on what matters most. My children.
My husband and I have three children. I am a homeschool mother and photographer currently. This wasn't always the case- It took me many years to finish my college education between work and having children. Funny story- I actually gave birth to my third baby during finals week of my last quarter!!! I graduated a few months later formally from the University of Washington with my Arts & Communication bachelors degree.
This is just the middle-
This artistic spark has been with me for as long as I can remember. My heart has been drawn closer to those precious, irreplaceable and unique moments in life as I venture through life with my own family. I've missed moments, and for that I want you to capture yours! My creativity is formed with my hands through the lens, with a brush, a needle & machine or any other way I can put emotion into words. One of my goals as an artist is to always excel. To push myself past the standard and create a piece that I am proud of, know took time and effort and was- more than likely- with trials along the way. I am not afraid to try something new, go out of my comfort zone or give it a chance and see what comes. I strive to make a lasting impression for others to continue to see the beauty I've created.
Allow me to say hello! I would be honored to be first in line to help capture those moments of life with ease for you & from there allow the art to flow from within and make the magic happen. The moments between moments, the tiny details that can often get overlooked, the seemingly insignificant parts of it all and transform it into a jaw dropping end product that leaves you feeling uplifted and stunning.
I would love to take the time- to greet you in person and chat over coffee (insert beverage you'd drink) about your next session. What a joy it will be to create a new memory and story with yourself/ and your family. I look forward to collaborating with you- let's document today in all of its beauty.
YOU won't want to miss what comes next.
